I just cancelled my order when will I receive my refund?
On successfully processing the refund, the refund amount will be credited to your Bank account. This will take 5-7 days to reflect the amount in your bank account
Do you accept returns?
When you make a purchase with shoemonkies.com, we believe you have placed your valued trust in us and have understood all our terms and conditions regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds. We are a small start-up passionate about providing the trendiest designs at affordable prices. Hence, currently, our business model does not give us the flexibility to accept returns unless the product is damaged or if you receive the wrong product. These are the terms and conditions for returns:
- The return or exchange request of any product will be accepted only if the said product is returned in a saleable condition with the tags intact and in its original packaging, in an unused and undamaged condition.
- Refund/ replacement for goods/ merchandise is subject to inspection and checking by the ShoeMonkies team.
- Any product damaged due to negligence of the customer, improper usage or application will not be covered under our Returns / Exchange Policy.
- No exchange or returns are allowed for items purchased during Promotional Offers.
- Please note that the Cash on Delivery and the shipping charge would not be included in the refund value of your order as these are non-refundable charges.
- In case you wish to return a part of the order, in case multiple items are purchased in an order, you can do so. Any product being returned needs to be returned in full including all components as well as any complimentary gifts or products which came along with it.
- Once your return request has been placed with Customer Service, you will get a confirmation mail. The return courier charges shall be borne solely by the customer. Once the item is received in our warehouse, it undergoes a Product Inspection which takes about 2 days. Typically the refunds/exchanges are initiated within 2 days after product inspection. The receipt of the payment would depend on the mode of payment chosen by you. In case a product is exchanged, we will endeavour to deliver the replaced product to the customer within a period of one week.
- For Refunds, if the payment was made by Credit Card or Net-Banking, we can reverse credit to the Credit Card or credit your Net-Banking account. If the payment made was by Cash on Delivery, money will be transferred to your bank account.
- Typically the refunds are initiated within 2 days of Product Inspection. Receipt of the refund would depend on the mode of payment chosen by you. The expected timeline for the refund is within 10 working days.
- For any queries on refund status, we will send information to our customers through emails at every step of the returns process so please check for the last update from us in your email. Depending on the mode of refund, the time taken for the refund to reflect in your account can vary. If you haven't received any update from us please write to us or give us a call.
- Exchanged product is dispatched as soon as the returned item/s has passed product inspection. Generally, we won't take more than 48 hours after receipt of returned product. In case of any unexpected delay, we will keep you informed by email and/or SMS.
- Your exchange order value should be equal to or more than the return item/s value.
- There is no charge for exchange. Please return the original item and exchange it for an item/s of the same or higher value. In case you choose an item of higher value, you can pay the differential amount as cash on delivery (COD). COD and shipping charges are non-refundable.
What happens If I am not available when you deliver my order?
For all online orders, our delivery service providers will make three attempts to deliver before the product will be returned to our warehouse.
In the case of a Cash on Delivery Order, the Delivery Service provider normally calls before making a delivery attempt. If a customer is not present when our delivery service provider attempts to deliver the order, three more attempts are made automatically and after that product is returned to our warehouse.
I am concerned about the security aspects related to trying out my credit card number online.
Please be assured that we do not receive/ store your complete card details. When you enter the card details you are redirected to a secure payment site. Your card issuing bank authorizes or rejects the transaction, based on which we process or reject the order. At no point do we receive/store your card details.
I have placed my order. What happens next?
Once you have successfully placed your order on our website, you will receive a confirmation email from shoemonkies.com. We will then start making your order, from our Agra warehouse and keep you informed at every step with regard to the delivery of the same. Your item is packed securely and handed over to our trusted delivery partners. Then, your item is shipped to your location.
You will receive a tracking ID from us to be entered on our courier partner’s website which is carrying your order. You can track your order with the tracking ID until it’s delivered.
